Remodeling Edmonds Homes With Care
Edmonds is part of NorthLight’s South Snohomish County service area. Founded in 2014 by master builder Tony Collins and based in Mukilteo, NorthLight works with homeowners across King and Snohomish Counties. Our Areas We Serve page lists the communities we cover.
Edmonds Projects From Our Portfolio
In one Edmonds whole-home refresh, NorthLight completed a full kitchen remodel, three bathroom renovations, a fireplace refresh, new flooring and paint, and a new exterior deck.
In another Edmonds project, a retired couple needed a one-story home where they could age in place. Working with the homeowners and a local architect, NorthLight updated and expanded a rambler with an addition for a dining room and a large primary suite, along with wide doorways, a barrier-free front walkway and covered porch, and a spacious new kitchen.

Thoughtful Design-Build Coordination
With design-build, one team takes your remodel from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. It happens in four stages.
Develop
We learn what you want the remodel to accomplish and provide an estimate. Detailed measurements and onsite meetings follow, and the layout is confirmed, including any changes to walls, plumbing, or electrical.
Design
Our design specialists guide your selections and can even go to the store with you. Once selections are made, the team can create a rendering of the finished space. Engineering, architectural, and permit needs are identified, and three budget checks lead to a fixed-price Construction Agreement.
Construct
NorthLight handles permitting and inspections. You meet your Lead Carpenter before work begins, the construction plan and schedule are updated regularly, and Buildertrend keeps you informed.
Complete
A final walkthrough confirms the work meets your standards and ours. The 12-month workmanship warranty begins at completion, with a follow-up 10 to 11 months later.

Making selections early lets NorthLight price accurately and have materials on hand when they are needed.
