Design-Build Coordination From Start to Finish
Design-build means one company is responsible for design, pricing, and construction. At NorthLight, that happens in four stages.
Develop
Your introductory meeting covers goals and budget and ends with an estimate. With a Pre-Construction Services Agreement in place, the team measures, meets with you onsite, and solidifies the layout.
Design
NorthLight identifies any engineering, architectural, or permit needs, prepares concept layouts, and helps you choose finishes and fixtures. Exact trade partner quotes and three budget checks result in a fixed-price Construction Agreement.
Construct
Your Lead Carpenter runs the jobsite. A plan and schedule are set at the start, followed, and updated regularly, and Buildertrend gives you access to the timeline and updates.
Complete
After a final walkthrough, your 12-month workmanship warranty begins. NorthLight follows up 10 to 11 months later to handle minor adjustments.
