Bringing the 1960s Home to the Modern Era

This beautiful project gave new life to a 1960’s two-story home and brought it into the modern era.  A complete floor plan change upstairs included making one large great room out of separate kitchen, dining, and living spaces, the dining space was pushed out with large windows to take advantage of the incredible view, and the ceiling was raised above the kitchen area.

This client also wanted a large outdoor living space which we designed and built to include a kitchenette, gas fireplace, TV, overhead skylights, fans, gas heaters, and glass railings to preserve the view. Additionally, we included a large window between the inside and outside kitchens to allow for pass-through of food and beverages for entertaining. The homeowners use this outdoor space year-round.
