Our Team

Tony and I founded NorthLight with the aim of enabling Tony to pursue his genuine passion for crafting innovative living spaces for people within their homes. My involvement with NorthLight began a couple of years ago, primarily focusing on handling accounting, HR, and various other operational facets as our company steadily expands. Whenever a member of our team requires assistance with computer issues, software queries, or sourcing unique materials for a client, I gladly step in to resolve it. Reflecting on our journey, I am immensely proud of the milestones we’ve achieved over the years and deeply grateful for our exceptional team.

I have known Tony and worked with him on and off since I was 19 years old. After spending some time in Colorado and owning my own construction company, Tony offered me the opportunity to work with him once again here in Washington. I have been working in the construction industry for most of my career, and my favorite part of the construction process is helping clients to conceptualize and design their new living space.

I joined NorthLight in November 2023, coming from a biotech background. However, the primary principles of operations, marketing, and sales apply to the construction industry as well and I have loved every moment of the transition. I love working here because of the dedicated and friendly team, who always strive to provide the best service to our customers. Plus, my dog Gracey enjoys coming to work with me and greeting new people with a tail wag and smiles.

I started working at NorthLight in April 2024, and I absolutely love being part of the team here. I began my career in data analytics, but soon realized that I needed a more creative outlet. In 2017, I made the switch and pursued a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design at Bellevue College. This decision led me to the world of home building and remodeling. At NorthLight, I am able to utilize both my analytical skills and artistic eye to solve problems for our clients. As a member of the sales team, we collaborate with our clients to develop their dream space concept. We then work with our design team on the details and our production team to bring their dream space to life. In my free time, I enjoy reading, quilting, gardening, and spending time with my ever-growing in-home zoo.

Mike Gwynn is a client-centered professional driven by a passion for transforming homes. With a strong background in operations and customer success, he excels at guiding clients through complex remodeling projects, meticulously aligning goals with budgets, and delivering fulfilling results built on trust and transparency.

When he’s not helping clients achieve their home dreams, you can find Mike enjoying fishing, golfing, spending time building Legos with his boys, or catching live music.

NorthLight’s newest Design Team member. Kathryn’s passion is designing interiors that celebrate & elevate daily living. Whether it’s a kitchen or whole home remodel, she loves creating beautiful, functional spaces for enjoying food, wine, family, and furry friends. Her design experience prior to NorthLight includes boutique hospitality concepts & custom furnishings in addition to plenty of residential kitchen & bath renovations. With dual degrees in Theatre Arts & Interior Design, Kathryn’s superpower is translating conceptual ideas into totally personalized spaces – designed to be loved for years to come! “When I’m not designing, I enjoy food, wine, yoga, and travel.”

Cassidy started at NorthLight the summer of 2023 after graduating from Washington State University (Go Cougs!). Cassidy has been enhancing her skills as a designer drafter and is learning to assist our clients in reimagining their living spaces. “I am excited to see our team continue to grow and feel grateful to be working with these talented and kind people.”

I have been working in the construction field with Tony for many years. I find it rewarding to work alongside such a dedicated group of people who always strive to provide the best service possible to our clients. I also enjoy meeting and collaborating with our clients, as every project presents unique challenges that require creative solutions. On a personal level, I have a passion for classic and race cars, and I’m always up for a fun conversation about them!

With over 30 years in Residential and Commercial construction Dave brings his experience as a General Contractor to the NorthLight team. My specialty has been in kitchen and bath remodeling. I enjoy the detail of creating unique and high end projects that require a strong eye for detail and precision. In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, and spending time with my family.

I have been working as a superintendent in residential and new construction for more than 25 years. I love finding solutions to the challenges that are always present in construction. Every day is different and seeing the smiling faces of our clients as we construct a space they love is the best reward.

I came to NorthLight because they truly work as a team. Since I started here I have always felt like I have a team of partners I can turn to and who will help whenever needed. It is a rare find in this industry to have the opportunity to work with such a great group of people who are passionate about their clients and the company.

My hobbies are focused on being outside. I love riding horses, training dogs, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and golfing (for fun).

I’ve been with NorthLight for almost three years.  I enjoy all aspects of a remodel project, but my favorite part is probably the finish carpentry portion of a project. I enjoy working at NorthLight because of the variety of high-quality projects that I’ve had the opportunity to work on with knowledgeable team members that enjoy their job as much as me.

I started my journey at NorthLight in March of 2021. I’m passionate about all aspects of construction; from the science of building to working in the field. When I started I was primarily doing framing work; and now I’ve grown to working on everything from foundations to the fascia! I enjoy working at NorthLight because every day brings new opportunities to deliver quality work to and build relationships with our clients alongside a devoted team.

Craig has been working at NorthLight for 5 years as a Lead Carpenter. One of Craig’s many talents is tile work. You will always find Craig with a smile on his face and happy to lend an ear to listen.

Gracey, the silver lab, recently welcomed our newest four-legged addition, Oakley. Oakley is a 1yr old lab/border collie mix with as much energy as Gracey. Both of them are friendly and love to greet visitors with a kiss and a tail wag.
